IMPORTANT CHANGES TO YOUR DEBIT CARD

Due to the increase in debit card fraud over the last few weeks and our commitment to protect our customers BEFORE this fraud occurs, we have taken the following actions:

Effective July 20, 2015, all SIGNATURE BASED transactions will be blocked in ALL states EXCEPT ALABAMA.  A Signature based transaction is using your debit card as a credit card and signing for the transaction instead of entering your PIN at the time of purchase.  This change means that you must know your PIN and enter it when you use your Debit Card for payment. If you do not know your PIN or if you are traveling outside the state and need an exemption from this policy, please contact customer service at 334-682-4155 or 1-877-418-6411 for assistance.  Please keep in mind that all PIN transactions whether for ATM Access or for purchases will not be blocked.

We have also set blocks for all countries other than the United States. All transactions in other countries will have to be PIN based.

To protect your account, Fraud Watch Plus monitors your ATM and debit card transactions for potentially

fraudulent activity which may include a sudden change in location, a sudden string of costly purchases, or any pattern associated with new fraud trends around the world.

If fraud is suspected, you will receive a call from Fraud Watch Plus to validate the transaction.  Your response to this call is critical to prevent potential risk and avoid restrictions that may be placed on your card.  To ensure that you can be reached by phone whenever potential fraud is detected, please keep us informed of your correct phone number at all times.
